Maureen Khoo, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist serving patients at Women's Health Specialist in Los Gatos and Mountain View, California. Dr. Khoo has been practicing in the Bay Area for more than 20 years at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and Los Gatos, and Good Samaritan Hospital.
A San Francisco native, Dr. Khoo received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis. She then earned her master’s degree in biochemistry and her medical degree at Hahnemann University Hospital, affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine, in Philadelphia. Upon graduating, she completed her OB/GYN residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Dr. Khoo’s special interests are minimally invasive surgery, high-risk pregnancy, and critical care obstetrics.
Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Khoo is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She previously served as President of the South Bay chapter of the American Medical Women's Association and has held mentorship and teaching positions for pre-medical and medical students.
At Women's Health Specialist, Dr. Khoo offers a boutique type of practice, giving patients personal attention with access to the doctor through phone, text, and email. She takes an integrative approach to care, combining holistic, alternative medicine with traditional western medicine. To better serve patients, she speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, and Burmese.
In her free time, Dr. Khoo enjoys playing tennis, oil painting, and reading.
